Learning, Creativity, and Friendship Beyond the Classroom

At St. Anthony Academy, opportunities for growth continue beyond the school day. Our extracurricular programs give students the chance to pursue their interests, discover new talents, stay active, and enjoy time with friends in a joyful and welcoming environment.

Offerings include athletics, music, strategy, cooking, and the arts, with programs designed for a variety of ages and interests.

Aftercare

Monday–Thursday | Dismissal–5:00 PM

St. Anthony Academy offers supervised aftercare Monday - Thursday until 5:00 PM. Students have time to play, read, complete schoolwork, and spend time with friends in a relaxed environment at the end of the school day.

After School Enrichment Programs

Chess Club

Students are invited to join Mrs. Duffus for our after-school Chess Club! Whether they are experienced players or just learning the game, students will have the opportunity to develop their skills, practice strategy, and enjoy friendly competition with classmates.

Soccer Club

DMV Camps After School Soccer Club provides a fun and encouraging environment where participants build fundamental soccer skills through engaging drills, games, and activities. Players of all ability levels will develop passing, dribbling, shooting, and teamwork while enjoying the game in a recreational setting. Each session concludes with a scrimmage, giving players the opportunity to apply what they have learned.

St. Lawrence Cooking Club

Hands-on kitchen fun for young chefs! Led by Ms. Moreno, students will learn essential safety, cleaning habits, and meal prep while exploring fun, delicious recipes. Together, we'll grow in practical life skills, joyful service, and fellowship in the spirit of St. Lawrence.

St. Lawrence Cooking Club

In our Crafts Club, students will enjoy fun, hands-on projects using paint, paper, beads, and more. Each week will offer a new opportunity for young artists to create, experiment, and bring home something special they’ve made themselves.

Symphony Orchestra

In partnership with Tolbert Music, St. Anthony Academy offers students the opportunity to participate in a school symphony orchestra. Students receive instruction in their chosen instrument while learning to play together as an ensemble. The program develops musical skill, discipline, attentive listening, and an appreciation for the beauty and tradition of orchestral music.
