A Classical School in Harmony with Catholic Tradition.
The primary years are devoted to building a strong academic and spiritual foundation. Students develop essential skills in reading, handwriting, spelling, writing, and mathematics while cultivating habits of attentiveness, diligence, and wonder. Daily prayer, Scripture, and age-appropriate catechesis help students grow in their knowledge and love of God. Through memorization of prayers, poetry, and foundational facts, children begin building the knowledge base that will support future learning.
During the Grammar School years, students expand their knowledge across the humanities, mathematics, science, and the Catholic faith. They begin the study of Latin and encounter the great civilizations of Greece, Rome, and Christendom. Students continue to strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and mathematical fluency while memorizing poetry, historical facts, catechism, and other foundational material. These years emphasize both intellectual discipline and a growing appreciation for truth, goodness, and beauty.
The Upper School years help students move beyond mastering facts to understanding ideas and relationships. Students read and discuss great works of literature and history, continue their study of Latin, and engage more deeply with science, mathematics, and theology. Through essays, oral presentations, debates, and classroom discussion, students learn to think critically, reason logically, and communicate clearly. By the end of eighth grade, students are well prepared for the academic challenges of high school and equipped with the habits of mind and character that foster lifelong learning.
